Master's Message, September 2025
Greetings my Adelphoi Brothers!
I hope your summer is going well and you had a chance to enjoy the sunny weather. I had a different summer; I spent most of the summer in Boston going through radiation treatments for prostate cancer. I am feeling fine, and I look forward to seeing you all again to continue our work in the Lodge making Masons. We have two candidates that have shown an interest in joining our Lodge. We will be reading their applications in Lodge at our September meeting.
I have been notified that I will be awarded a Meritorious Service award from the Grand Master. I will be heading to the GM visitation to the Northern District, at Morning Star Lodge on Thursday, Sept 4th. I know it is because of the hard work that you all have done to make Adelphoi a working Lodge again. I would like to share this award with all my Adelphoi brothers. I hope you can all join me to be recognized for the hard work you have put in, making Adelphoi a valued Lodge in the Jurisdiction.
Since its almost Fall, and that means its football season we will be having Mr. Greg Tranter speaking to us about the history of the first professional football team in RI, the Providence Steamrollers. I hope you can join us; I’m sure it will get us amped up for the football system. The Pats are looking like a real football team; they might be worth watching this year.
We will be having dinner in the Lodge this month. Please call the Stewards with your reservation. Dinner will be at 6PM, with the Lodge opening at 7PM.
